The price of fashion

Maybe it's just because I've been obsessed with "What Not to Wear" and "Project Runway" lately, but I've been thinking a lot about clothes. I've realized that it's important that clothes FIT and look GOOD on you, not just that they're cheap, only fit (but don't look good), or look good (but don't fit). I've realized that it really is a good idea to have some great pieces in your wardrobe that maybe are a little more expensive but fit the criteria mentioned above. It reminds me of our apartment... we have quite a few nice pieces from Pottery Barn, and then some from Target and OfficeMax. But the PB pieces make the others look a lot nicer. A sprinkle of some nicer pieces, be it clothes or furniture, makes the whole "wardrobe" look better. :)
